Reflections: From London to Milan – A Changing Vibe?
Share
So, London Fashion Week has just wrapped up, and honestly, it didn’t give me the thrill it usually does. But, that’s behind us now, and all eyes are on Milan Fashion Week, which kicked off yesterday and runs until September 25th. And of course, after that, it’s Paris! Always a good reason to look forward.
Now, what’s caught my eye so far? Well, there’s *a lot* of fur. And Fendi is making its presence felt. We’re seeing this vibe of relaxed glamour with a side of fierce femininity. To me, this isn't just a random trend. It’s reflective of something bigger, a shift in what women are projecting these days. We’re in a time where the global economy isn’t exactly thriving, and it feels like women are stepping up more than ever. We’re supporting not just ourselves, but sometimes even holding up the men in our lives when they lose jobs or face uncertainty. It’s a shift in roles, and naturally, we’re seeing that energy in fashion too.
Because that’s how fashion works, right? It’s never just about the clothes. It’s about what’s happening around us, socially, politically, economically. It all filters down into what we wear and how we present ourselves. Fashion is, at its core, a way of doing something – it’s in the details of life, whether we’re talking about clothes, hair, makeup, or even our mood. It’s all connected.
